China’s three-phase plan discussed at a meeting in southern part of the East Turkestan

A message to the Uyghur Information Center on March 9, 2021, stated that China’s policy of exterminating the Uyghurs in East Turkestan was divided into three phases, the first of which was the initial repression from 2014 to 2017. The second phase is the incarceration and annihilation in the camps from 2017 to the present. The clean-up phase, which is the third phase, will be implemented from this year onwards. The process has already begun in part of southern East Turkestan, where Uyghurs who were not locked up in the camps are being relocated to special industrial zones. In these zones, voucher is used instead of money, and people cannot communicate with the outside world.
